More evidence that the illness is generally not serious for most people, may be weakening, and we are getting better at treating it. The mortality rate in these southern states is like 1/8 of NY, NJ and others up north.

The real scandal, perhaps the biggest in this country in decades, is how NY governor Cuomo panicked and dumped tens of thousands of Covid patients into nursing homes and killed tens of thousands of elderly. Then, like lemmings to the sea governors in NJ, CT, PN and MI (all leftists) followed suit. Probably close to HALF the nation’s Covid deaths are on their hands…60,000 people by some estimates. There needs to be investigations done and civil or criminal charges brought if culpability can be establish, which I think it can. I know their are unfortunately limits on suing government officials, but this is outrageous. Their direct actions cost ten of thousand of lives. It should be possible to establish liability when a direct action is taken, rather than simple negligent inaction.
