Record Cold In The Time of “Global Warming”

Much of the US is in the grips of a record-breaking killer cold-wave, but to hear the far-left tell it, this is just more evidence of Global Warming, err, climate change. This is absurd.

Fact: many climate studies have used faulty or fudged data to show warming.

Fact: not a single climate model trotted out over the last two decades showing a continued warming trend has proven accurate.

Fact: cold kills far more people than heat, but this is probably what the death-cult left wants…fewer people.

Fact: human development on coastlines has led to an increase in losses, not more frequent storms or rising oceans.

Climate change is nothing more than a massive scam run by the left designed to take money from the productive classes. It needs to stop.

First they will target conservatives, Christians, and capitalists, then other religions possibly excepting Islam for some bizarre reason, then centrists and moderates. Finally they will turn on each other. It is what they do. Face it, these people cannot be reasoned with or bargained with. It’s like The Terminator, only the machines worked on logic unlike the left, which acts on pure emotion. Sadly too many Republicans still try to make peace with them.

As one sports-fan friend of mine stated so eloquently: “what’s wrong with these people?” Another summed it up thusly: “I slipped in my driveway the other day so I guess I have to watch women’s figure skating now!” Bingo! Leftists have to leftist.

SB Nation has some of the best team-focused college blogs around, along with Yahoo’s Rivals. Unfortunately, SB Nation is also owned by Vox, one of the worst, dumbest, most partisan and vile left-wing media outlets around. Their regular content is 24/7 PC, SJW, conservative-bashing and Trump-hating garbage, so this is what you would expect from their sports “journos”.

It is no secret that there are a lot of leftists in the Catholic Church, both in the hierarchy and membership. Heck, The Pope is a hard-core leftist. Far too many Catholics were quick to attack the Covington boys without knowing the facts, and many still did after the facts came out, all in the name of “fairness” or “social-justice”. It is a disgrace. Many Catholics seem to place more faith in leftist government than their own church. Why are they even members?

The NFL Had An Epic Championship Sunday and Ruined It

For the first time ever both NFL Championship games went to overtime, and the NFL ruined both games, but for different reasons.

In game one we witnessed perhaps the most egregiously bad no-call in the history of the game, as a mugging (calling it pass interference doesn’t do it justice) by an LA Rams defensive back was inexplicably missed on a key third down late in the fourth quarter. If called properly, New Orleans would have either scored a touchdown or kicked a last-second field goal and almost certainly won. Instead they settled for a field goal allowing LA time to kick a long last-second field goal themselves, tying the game and sending it to OT where the Rams won. What makes it even more inexplicable is that a ref is seen standing no more than five yards away clearly looking at the play! How does this clown have a job??!! And it gets better: there were clearly not one but TWO penalties on the play: the other being helmet-to-helmet contact.

In game two, The hated New England Pats and the KC Chiefs staged an epic back-and-forth game that went to OT tied 31 all. The game was then basically won………..by flipping a coin. Yea! Other than NE fans, everyone on the planet wanted to see KC and Patrick Mahomes get one last shot at glory, but it was not to be. The NFL needs to change its OT rules for playoffs immediately: give each team one possession, regardless if the team getting the ball first scores a TD. Play 10 minutes minimum, or 15. Adopt the college rule: equal possessions at the 25. I have always liked the college rule better even though its’ detractors say “it is not real football”: it’s more exciting and equitable. A coin-flip isn’t real football either. Don’t like starting at the 25? Start at the 40. Regardless, the current system stinks. With two gassed defenses on the field, it was little doubt that whoever won the coin toss would score a TD. Sad way to end an epic game.

Why Social Media Is The Worst Thing In The World

Here are just a few words and phrases I would use to describe social media: garbage, hateful, vile, a waste of time, mind-numbing, IQ-lowering, mental-illness causing, to name a few.

The latest example is what happened in the aftermath of the alleged dustup involving a few boys from Covington Catholic School at Friday’s March For Life. Full disclosure: I was there and saw nothing but exemplary behavior among the hundreds of thousands in attendance. As usually happens with this sort of thing, some brave keyboard commandos set out to identify, scourge, threaten and harass the most prominent figure in the video. Trouble is, as is also common, they got the ID wrong. This led to an innocent teen and his family to be subject to harassment, intimidation and even death threats. These leftist gutter-dwellers should be ashamed, but they have no shame. Ends justify the means. Frankly, nobody who is threatened in this manner has to worry since the people doing it are gutless cowards.

More On Gillette’s “Toxic Masculinity” Ad

First off, “toxic masculinity” is a made-up term by the far-left to try to brow-beat men into behaving like they want. It has no meaning. On a personal level, the ad is offensive because with two exceptions, all of the offending men are white. Also notice that the “correctors” are often men of color. If this were reversed, the left would be screaming about “racism!”. No men in the ad from countries where women are treated like chattel, often beaten or even subject to “honor killings”. The brand manager of Gillette (I looked him up) is from a culture where women are often treated brutally. Perhaps a look in the mirror would be good for him.

On a cultural level, the ad is even more offensive because it engages in the worst types of stereotyping. Yes, men sometimes behave badly. But so do women. I can’t wait for Gillette’s ad encouraging women to find their better angles. Yeah right. Then Gillette would be condemned for “mansplaining”. This is just another shot in the culture war against men and masculinity. The far-left engages in the fantasy that men and women are the same, and wants a society where feminists and the LGBT crowd rule.
