34 states had more deaths from the flu in 2018 than Covid deaths this year. That is straight from the CDc itself. In Pennsylvania, more people over 100 have died of Covid (or related) than those under 45. Think about that: OVER 100 years old! Did we shut down the country in 2018 over the flu?? No!

And it isn’t even close. Six of the top eight states in Covid deaths are dominated by leftist Democrats, and the other two are purple states with openly leftist governors: Michigan and Pennsylvania. And before anyone says “but, but, population” two red states are the second and third most populated: Texas and Florida. While on the subject, many people are now questioning the veracity of the Covid death count. There are numerous confirmed stories of people clearly dying from something else being counted as Covid deaths, among the most egregious was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. And it isn’t just a “right-wing conspiracy”….doctors are going public. Some in the medical field have been bold enough to accuse the government of over-counting by up to 25%…that would make the death count under 70,000 if true.
Make know mistake, this guy leans pretty far to the left. Maybe he is more of a real liberal. At any rate, he has been a friend to the Democrats and left for years. When you start to lose the like of Matt Taibbi you are in big trouble. This actually gives me hope.

Most, but not all are leftists. This is the problem with the lock-downs, shelter-in-place orders, and other rules by fiat. The leftist tyrants like governors in NY, NJ, California and Michigan have gotten a real taste of their new-found power and tyranny and they like it. They will not give it back easily, unlike most “red state” governors. Never mind that most red states either refused to rule by fiat or had much more reasonable restrictions. None of this should been allowed in the first place, but now we have to take it back. Sue, remove them from office, vote them out, and use reasonable civil disobedience if necessary. Virtue-signaling leftist institutions like the Cal State system have already announced no in person fall classes. They do so at their own peril. Already students are beginning to shun the on-line model if it means full-time. Universities have greatly over-invested in sports facilities, classrooms and palatial dorms in recent years that could be empty. Much of it was financed with debt. Government will soon run out of bail-out dollars and donors who usually fund endowments are bound to cut back due to tough economic times. The lock-down must stop, immediately.
