MeToo Has Devolved Into A Witch Hunt

As with most movements that start out as well-meaning, the anti-harassment “MeToo” movement has become an out-of-control monster. There is no presumption of innocence for the accused, the interpretation of harassment is in the eye of the beholder, and some accusations have already been debunked. Assault is one thing, harassment another. The latter should not be criminalized and weaponized. The problem is that this is destroying trust between men and women and amongst society in general. The irony is that at least one high-profile woman has been caught up in it….oops! Didn’t see that coming.

The constant attack on “toxic masculinity” is coming from the radical feminist movement. They hate men, except for the emasculated ones, and want to be on top of the power pyramid.

American Left-Wing Media Is A Dumpster Fire

Left-wing (call it mainstream if you want) media had one of its worst weeks ever recently. Continuously getting big stories wrong, publishing poorly sourced stories and not vetting sources is not a good look. The leftwing media is Hell-bent on destroying Trump and if not successful, appears poised to drive the car right off a cliff. I have seen several formerly respectable media people try to argue that this is their “finest hour” since they are trying to shed light on real or perceived violations by the Trump administration. The funny thing is, I do not recalling them showing such gusto in going after the horribly corrupt Obama presidency, one that even leftists called perhaps the least transparent in history.
