An alarming study out of Wisconsin showing a significant increase in anxiety and depression among adolescents and a decrease in physical health associated with school closures and the cancellation of sports. Anyone with kids or who coaches or mentors young athletes (I fit both categories) could tell you this anecdotally. There needs to be investigations done and civil or criminal charges brought if culpability can be establish, which I think it can. I know their are unfortunately limits on suing government officials, but this is outrageous. Their direct actions cost ten of thousand of lives. It should be possible to establish liability when a direct action is taken, rather than simple negligent inaction.
