It is no secret that a majority of US colleges and universities have been overrun by leftist professors and administrators in recent decades, and that they have changed these institutions for the worse (unless you are a socialist or like Antifa). It is also no secret that college costs are ever inflating to the point that many question the value of a higher education. What is not as well known is that students are not learning anything. Studies show that proficiency rates for college grads are dropping across disciplines and that students spend more time playing than learning. Colleges have spent billions on luxury dorms, social halls and athletic facilities to the point that they have become country clubs, or for many of today’s thumb-sucking snowflakes, expensive playpens.
Most public institutions are infected with leftists as are many of the formerly “top” private liberal arts schools, like the entire Ivy League. These schools have no interest in teaching their students HOW to think, they are only interested in teaching them WHAT to think. This is called indoctrination. Out are traditional studies in the humanities and hard sciences, in are worthless programs in women’s, gender, and race studies. As a result students graduate with worthless degrees and heavily indebted.
This is a national crisis. If you want to get your child a high-quality education I would avoid state schools and the “well known” liberal arts schools like the plague. Look instead to top conservative schools like Hillsdale, Liberty or St Johns NM. Here is a list of some top conservative institutions:

Another place to look is schools with a strong faith-based orientation, like Catholic U, Ave Maria, Hope College or BYU. If you are interested in the hard sciences, look at schools like MIT, Cal Tech, Rice, University of Chicago, the Naval and Air Force Academies, Carnegie Mellon and the like.

Wow, is our media just plain stupid! This is a totally non-story. I hate social media, do not use it and tightly restrict my kids’ usage partly for this reason and partly because it is just stupid. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch. I stopped frequenting Starbucks years ago because their coffee sucks, though I do like a few of their pastries. Now it’s on my boycott list because their head man Howard Schultz is an avowed leftist who was quoted as saying “we don’t want your business” to conservatives, as well as the fact that the company has become overly PC and is now being brow-beaten by its very own leftist customers. I love it when leftists turn on each other. The company is even closing its stores on May 29 for “racial bias education day”, whatever that is. Sounds like brain-washing. What’s next, free coffee for all of those claiming to be “woke”? What a joke this company is.
The draining of the DC swamp may soon begin. Former FBI assistant director and noted Trump-basher Andrew McCabe is about to face criminal prosecution on charges that he leaked classified information and lied under oath. Former FBI director and current left-wing media darling James Comey may well be facing the same. Will former Attorney General Loretta Lynch be next? When will she testify under oath about the infamous tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton? Did Lynch discuss with Comey a scheme to exonerate Hillary Clinton?
Fact: by not recommending prosecution for Clinton, Comey exceeded his authority.
Fact: Comey has admitted that he and others assumed Clinton would win the election, and that his decision to exonerate her was based partly on political considerations.
Fact: Hillary and the DNC paid for the phony dossier to smear Trump.
Fact: the entire special counsel investigation is based on a faulty FISA court warrant that was based on erroneous information. Mueller’s entire investigation should thus be halted immediately, except he is in on it too and likely knows he could be in trouble.
Fact: other high level FBI employees (Strzok and Page for example) were actively working to get Clinton elected.
Fact: McCabe has said he leaked information to the press at the behest of Comey.
This is just speculation, but it is possible that Clinton promised Lynch, Comey, McCabe and who knows who else all sorts of high-level positions in her government and therefore the whole email things should just go away. This could be the worst conspiracy in US government history. And the only one who looks clean right now is Trump, unless you really care about Stormy Daniels.
Buy some popcorn and watch the fun ensue as the DC vermin turn on each other.

He should have titled it “I Hate Christians!” What is it with leftists? I am convinced it is mental illness. Chick-fil-A provides a great product and treats its customers and employees well, regardless of what you may think about their open Christianity. In fact, it is likely in part BECAUSE of their Christianity that they do so well.
The simple fact is that the New Yorker, like so many leftists rags, is dying. The only people who read it are aging leftists and former hippies. I suspect it will be out of business in a decade.

Funny, I don’t recall any prominent conservative celebrating some leftist’s death recently. This is the American left in all its glory. They hate…it is what they do. Disgusting and vile. Furthermore her critique of Mrs. Bush is irrational and unhinged. Boy, I would just LOVE her to teach my kids. Her contact information is easily available on the Fresno State website, though I suspect it has been blocked. She should be fired immediately.
And Reagan was a racist too. Be aware that this is the type of garbage now being taught in American high schools. It is the result of US colleges being overrun by leftists.
