51 Marxist, er Democrat senators including the formerly reasonable and reliable Joe Manchin passed the propaganda named “Inflation Reduction Act” over the weekend….it will do no such thing. It will raise taxes, increase government spending, waste money on more “green energy” grift, and weaponize the IRS. Yeah, that sounds like things that will help the economy. It will actually drive-up costs and hurt growth. Republican senators tried to get amendments passed including one that would have not allowed the funds to be used by the IRS to audit anyone making less than $400,000 a year, a reasonable request given that Biden had claimed he was looking for more enforcement actions against “the rich”. Nope, the Marxist Democrats would have none of it. The left-wing press is trumpeting the big “win” for Biden…right, if you consider destroying the economy to be a “win”, I guess it is. This bill is nothing but a cynical attempt by corrupt, evil Democrats to create the optics of a Biden legislative victory before November. It will do nothing to help anyone other than a few leftist greens and the DC swamp.

Is Joe Biden really not so dense that he realizes when you give people endless jobless and hardship benefits that many people will choose not to work? Is this really the beginning of the end of overly generous leftist welfare? The left constantly fails at basic economics. One universal rule: people respond to incentives. When you can earn as much or more simply sitting around many people will do that. It has become painfully obvious that the country has a shortage of willing workers. Companies in just about every industry are desperate for workers as the economy has rebounded and federal benefits are keeping people from seeking work in many cases. It is a national problem. So you end up with McDonald’s in Tampa offering to pay $50 per hour.
