The Federal Government Is Leading Us Toward Economic Ruin

As long as I can remember, with the exception of the late 1990’s various politicians, economists and financial pundits have been predicting economic doom in the US due to irresponsible government spending. Sometimes it was valid, but most of the time it was not as the country has always been able to borrow and grow with the ballooning deficits. With the passage of the despicable omnibus budget last month totaling $1.7 trillion, however, I fear the US has finally crossed the Rubicon to eventual financial disaster. The country is already saddled with trillions of dollars of debt from the ruinous Covid lockdowns and bloated “emergency” spending programs that came at the end of the Trump presidency and Biden’s first two years. Piling on even more spending because “the country has a lot of problems” is the epitome of stupidity and recklessness. In addition, this egregious spending, supported by some 16 Republicans in senate by the way, will make the Fed’s job of tackling inflation much harder. Spend more money, get more inflation. One of two things must happen: either the Fed has to continue on its tight money policy to bring down inflation which will wreck economic growth, or it must monetize the debt by printing more money which will lead to high long-term inflation. But the clowns in DC don’t care. The pain will be felt by the poor and middle class. Congress and the entire Biden administration should be impeached and removed from office for its ruinous policies. This is the purposeful destruction of our economy, just as the Marxists planned.

Regulatory Capture and Big Government Corruption

There are those, largely on the left, who believe government is benevolent and must be brought to bear to reign in the excesses of the free market. The trouble, just like absolute power big government corrupts everything it touches. Look no further than the cozy relationship between Wall Street mega-firms and DC. The financial services industry is probably the most highly regulated in the country. Regulatory capture has led to a symbiotic relationship where a handful of very large firms routinely commit fraud or violate laws making hundreds of millions in profit while unsuspecting clients get left holding the bag. If caught the perps usually negotiate a fine while the individuals involved skate from any criminal charges. Once in a while the regulators throw the book at some unpreferred firm, usually a smaller company or a foreign institution, but Goldman Sacks will never get punished. There is a two-way flow of people between Wall Street and DC. In the end the mega-firms and the corrupt DC Feds both get rich. Here is one such example with Citigroup and the Feds, where a courageous judge said “no” to the settlement negotiated by the parties, only to be overturned on appeal:

The US government is probably the most corrupt institution in the country. Trump tried to change this and we see what it brought. Any big business that DC gets its tentacles into becomes corrupted. We are seeing this now sadly in healthcare, where government controls the purse strings to such an extent that hospitals are mindlessly following idiotic and dangerous government Covid protocols that are literally killing their clients….patients. This will stop when enough people make it stop. All of this is the very definition of crony capitalism, something leftists and Democrats purport to hate….they don’t.

Devin Nunes Is Out To Save America

Nunes shocked Washington this week by announcing his retirement from Congress to become CEO of President Trump’s new social media and technology venture. This makes total sense. Marxist media and Big Tech are too in bed with the swamp and the Democrat party to be threatened by government. The way to destroy them is by taking them on via free-market competition.

Proof That Many Republicans Are Swamp Dwelling Frauds

Former president Bush apparently thinks Joe Biden is our savior. Proof once and for all that in DC there really isn’t a left vs right battle. Rather it’s the snobby elites vs everyone else. It’s the establishment vs the outsiders. It’s them vs “us”, us being 90% of the country.

Bush is a sell-out and a disgrace. He is a corrupt deep-state swamp dwelling doofus and fraud just like Clinton, Pelosi, Biden and McConnell. They are all the same and it’s likely all the protests and rioting and violence and legitimate concerns over our fraudulent elections are nothing more than political theater to them. They don’t care about all the people suffering from lockdowns, crime, illness, and corruption. They don’t even care about supposed (fake) inequity. The people are pawns to them. Not saying there are not some honest, principled leaders in DC. Trump was one. They are just outnumbered. DC isn’t a swamp, it is a sewer.
