I predicted early on in the Covid panic that public schools and their teachers would be sowing the seeds of their own demise if they insisted on staying home out of “safety”. It turns out that parents don’t like it very much when teachers do not teach, the product (education) is bad, and school boards attack them for simply wanting their kids educated and not indoctrinated. Private schools and home-schooling are thriving. The death of the woke leftist public education system is the best thing that could happen to this country.
