The Sports World Loses a Legendary Coach Far Too Soon

Mike Leach tragically passed away of a heart condition. Coach Leach repeatedly took also-ran football programs like Texas Tech, Washington State and most recently Mississippi State to new heights. He was an innovator, credited with developing the Air Raid offense while at Texas Tech, a great coach, a funny and intelligent man, and by all accounts are very good person. Except for a few turd sports “journalists” he was liked by all, a rarity in college football.

BigTen May Have Cancelled Season Over Politics

Like I have said many times, leftist politics destroys everything and now it has come for sports. BigTen commish Kevin Warren is apparently anti-Trump, and it is no secret a number of school presidents lean left. They may have thought this was a wedge issue to drive voters away from Trump but I suspect it will backfire. Not helping their case is their complete lack of transparency.

Marxist Democrats are Using Covid Shutdowns and Phony Racism To Destroy America

Just to be clear: closing schools, cancelling sports from grade school through college, restricting religious services and banning large outdoor gatherings has nothing to do with “science” or “safety”. The Marxists pushing it and bullying otherwise good people into acquiescing because they want to destroy every good organization and cultural institution in this country so they can remake it in their image. Kill the churches, kill the charities, kill the schools (why, that is where they indoctrinate), kill sports. We must now fight them for every inch. Time for all freedom loving people to rise up and start protesting.

Supposedly the Big Ten and Pac12 will announce that their football seasons will be cancelled tomorrow. The rumor is the Big Ten conference voted 12-2 to cancel….are you kidding me?! This makes no sense…more institutions committing suicide while being bullied by stupid leftists on Twitter and corrupt politicians. If this happens and the SEC and ACC play it will kill the Big Ten and it will be deserved. Football funds ALL OTHER college sports….college sports will DIE!

Leadership is sorely lacking in America: most politicians, school administrators and business executives are in full on risk avoidance mode. They will never get criticized by the left and the Twitter mob for passing restrictions to “fight Covid” but they will be excoriated if they allow things to return to normal and ONE PERSON gets sick and dies! This is crazy! At least there are a few people of courage standing up and fighting back.
