One of the best quotes from this article is something I have often echoed. By allowing “Lia” Thomas to swim in the NCAA finals, the organization has forever disgraced itself. Let me start by saying I know swimming and swimming is not a “conservative” sport. It is represented by a cross section of the country but given the cost and time involved with country clubs and swim clubs there are many swimmers who come from wealthy, elite liberal leaning families. By the reaction to this transgender “woman’s” success at last week’s meet, there is very little support for this in the sport. By stating and acting on his intention to nominate a new supreme court justice based only on the following two qualifications: black and female, Biden has put a stake into the heart of real equality.
