AOC tweeted and then deleted a post cheering the collapse of oil prices to the never before seen level of less than zero, saying that “with oil worthless now is the time to invest in our green future!” or some nonsense. Uh, Earth to Sandy, $0 oil and really cheap natgas means that the relative cost of your green fantasies just became A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE! This will likely kill any green vanity project that is not economically viable.
Leftists in general and Sandy from the Bronx constantly receive an F- in economics. The fact that this dope allegedly has an econ degree from BU puts a real stain on college education.

I usually don’t find myself agreeing with leftist environmentalists, but this guy nails it. He destroys Ms “occasionally functioning cortex” over her absurd “Green New Deal”. The money quote:
“Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.”
There is no way of knowing if this is true, but it leans in the “likely” camp. All that is missing from these odious leftist’s plans is a “Logan’s Run” like future complete with “renewal” at 30 (actually ritual extermination) for all but the elites. If you haven’t seen the movie I suggest it….an underrated and possibly prescient classic.
