What started decades ago as initially well-meaning steps like car seats, bike helmets and “stranger danger”, though the risks were far over-stated has morphed into a perverse attempt to prevent all harm, to the point where large swaths of the American people (mostly leftists) are willing to give up just about every freedom. The Marxist Democrats use this and other cons like “racism” to take control. It is sick, evil and sad.
We are currently witnessing the two biggest scandals and scams of our generation: the government created Covid panic and climate change. It is now painfully obvious that Dr. Fauci and many others pushing the Covid fear narrative are horribly corrupt, lied, withheld information, and browbeat opposing voices all in the name of power and wealth. The exact same thing has been going on in the climate change movement for decades. The world needs to wake up to the fact that many so-called scientists are not honest, well-meaning individuals but like all humans are corrupted by power and money, especially when obscene amounts of government money are involved. In addition, our goverment and those that work for it often do not have the people’s best interest at heart. Fauci is a poor scientists as has been documented for 40 years but is a conniving bureaucrat and politician who destroys all in his path. He and many others involved in Covid and the climate movement have done irreparable harm to science. It is time for the real scientists to take over.

The man apparently feels spaying reflective particles into the atmosphere to stop “climate change” is a good idea. What could possibly go wrong?
This is the problem with extremely wealthy, cloistered elites…they believe their own bullshit! Upset the natural balance of things and Mother Nature may not like it. A cold spell could become far worse with such geo-engineering, for example.
The other day GM pledged to sell only electric vehicles by 2035. no doubt virtue signaling to the new corrupt or not very bright leaders in the federal government. Some actual experts view this a pure fantasy. First off, the CO2 footprint of electric vehicles from creation to end of use is greater than combustion engine cars. So they do nothing to address “climate change”. Second, new fossil fuel or nuclear powerplants will have to be built to provide the electricity necessary, something the greenies oppose. Finally there is the battery problem. Car batteries require large amounts of lithium and other rare earth metals to function. These materials are RARE (thus the name), expensive to mine and cause tremendous environmental damage. So, massive fleets of EV’s will never come to pass. When the leftist elites say they want a “clean energy” future what they really mean is that only those with the power and money (like themselves) will be allowed to have cars, travel extensively or fly on planes. Modes of transportation will be dramatically restricted through government fiat or expense all in the name of “saving the planet”. This is the leftists Utopia: freedom for the elites and misery for all others.
Obama said he would “fundamentally transform” America. The Biden administration and the far-left Marxists who support it have an agenda to destroy America. If one Georgia senate seat had been held it could have been blunted. Now it will be much harder. I have made the ultimate leftist wish-list. I will be tracking it to see how much they get done in the next two years. It is likely that is all the time they will have but they can create a lot of damage in two years. Some items are not that bad and can be undone, others could destroy the country as we know it. I have listed them starting with the “most bad”.

My only consolation is that this came from Canada, though I am sure there are numerous Marxist environmentalists in the US thinking, “yeah man!” Fortunately, most Canadians do not seem to be this nutty or stupid, as the comment section is brutal. It is deliciously ironic that they same people decrying “climate change” and who believe that by banning fossil fuels we can control the Earth’s environment believe that taming the weeds in your yard is bad. Michael Moore, perhaps the most famous leftist documentary filmmaker in the world is a lot of things. I disagree with him on most topics. But he is sometimes (maybe often?) honest in his own way. Apparently his newest film project takes on “clean green energy” and leftists are furious.
He exposes the green energy scam for what it is and documents the untold damage that a lot of “green” energy projects do. Nothing I have not said here many times before, but its nice when a leftist with credibility in their circle does it. Most of “green energy” is dependent on carbon-based fuels. “Green” technology destroys nature, pollutes the environment, and leaves toxic waste often on a scale far greater than hydrocarbons due to its inefficiency. Not mentioned in the article is how solar and windfarms massacre wildlife, mostly birds, on a scale that Hitler would be envious of. Or how mining for key rare Earth metals used in green tech leaves toxic waste on a massive scale. All in all, this is a welcome expose of the “green” con, even though the movie gives us the usual “the Earth has too many people” rant.
I guess “climate change” also caused the bubonic plague in the Middle Ages, the smallpox and polio epidemics in the 1800s and 1900s, the Spanish Flu in 1918, and every other pandemic in history. No, your Popeness, Chinese people eating bats caused this. Unfortunately the Pope is a leftist, and he is also not very bright. But I repeat myself. It is painful to say that.
