Leftist Big Business Is Threatening America’s Democracy

The stereotype used to be that big business was a conservative, Republican leaning enterprise. Though never really the case, it is true that 30-40 years ago it was probably rare to find a radical leftist running a large corporation. How times have changed. Several large banks including Citicorp have stopped doing business with the gun industry, though usually under pressure from leftist Democrat politicians. Facebook and Google openly suppress conservative speech and ideas, and runoff employees who do not hold far-left ideologies.

Now, the dishonest and intellectually challenged left will tell you that this is no different than Chick-fil-A’s owners privately supporting traditional marriage or Hobby Lobby refusing to provide contraception in its healthcare benefits. They could not be more wrong. It is in fact the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Companies run by vile leftists such as Disney and Netflix are hoping to penalize a state over a law passed by the democratic process and approved by a majority of its residents. Hobby Lobby and Chick-fil-A have been attacked BY government bodies from the local up to federal for views deemed unpopular by them. Notice that these companies have not threatened to pull their business out of NY, Illinois or any other place run by leftists. Conservatives generally “live and let live”, leftists want to tell everyone HOW to live and penalize them if they don’t.

Now, Disney and Netflix have the right to do business wherever they want, but I doubt the legality of Facebook’s or Google’s actions, among others. What is interesting about the entertainment industry is that Disney has no problem doing business in an oppressive country like China (though they probably like the forced abortion) and Netflix recently filmed in Malaysia, where being gay is illegal! But that’s OK. At the same time, we as traditional and conservative American’s have every right NOT to do business with these companies. No more Facebook. No more trips to Disneyworld. Netflix sub cancelled. I suggest we start exercising those rights.

Harvard Bows To SJW’s and Embarrasses Itself

A few pants-wetting social justice warriors in a dorm at Harvard got the Dean of the dorm (a very distinguished law professor) and his wife removed because, wait for it, he is DARING to defend Harvey Weinstein! That makes them feel “unsafe”. Now, the position is largely ceremonial and advisory; he still keeps his position in the law school. But the emboldened thumb-sucking SJW’s will no doubt try to oust him entirely at some point. Noted honest liberal legal expert Alan Dershowitz and many others are excoriating Harvard for this decision, justifiably so.

Climate Change Disrupted South American Peoples….8000 Years Ago!

About 8000 before the combustion engine and wide-spread population growth, thus proving that the climate will always change and there is nothing we can do about it.

Leftists Contravene Law Whenever It Suits

This happens at all levels all the time, but especially in DC agencies. Leftists generally have decided that they are above the law. The latest case involves a Massachusetts judge who does not like immigration law, so she let a criminal illegal walk from her court through the back door. That’s called legislating from the bench. She is now facing obstruction of justice.

This is REAL obstruction. Accusing Trump of the same is laughable by comparison. I repeat: that which the far-left radicals accuse others of, they are themselves guilty of. It detracts from the attention.

Higher Education Needs To Be Destroyed

Or at least remade significantly. This is the best piece I have read on the crisis in higher education yet. From admission scandals to the corrupt student loan racket to poor education to indoctrination, the whole university system is due for major upheaval. The article does not offer any solutions per se, but is more of a wake-up call.

The author hints at fixes: not everyone needs to go to college, in fact perhaps most do not these days. This will hit the academic-industrial complex hard and force change. Leftist academia won’t like it….they may have to get real jobs. Kill the government-run college loan industry which is large Obama’s Frankenstein monster. And have industries devise ways to get the skills they need without burdening their future employees with debt and years of lost wages taken on via college.

Another Airport Drops Chick-Fil-A

After leftist fascist NY assemblyman Sean Ryan has a hissy-fit. First San Antonio (San Antonio!) and now Buffalo. These politicians are not banning Chick-Fil-A because it discriminates against the LGBT crowd: it doesn’t. They are banning the restaurant because they hate traditional Christian views. They are trying to ostracize the company and make those who do not toe their LGBT line outcasts.

Well, I have a suggestion for all conservatives, traditionalists, Christians, and the rest of you who are sick of government bullying and over-reach. Do not visit these cities. Take your tourist or business dollars elsewhere. Boycott them. Who would want to visit Buffalo anyway? I’m not.

Seattle Is Dying

I highly recommend watching this hour long special. It vividly illustrates what happens when radical leftists rule a big city. Seattle has devolved into a hellish pit of drugs, filth, crime and lawlessness, largely because the far-left Democrat government is no longer enforcing the law. Seattle now ranks number two in the country in property crime among US big cities, trailing only….wait for it……San Francisco.
