Michael Moore Exposes The Green Energy Con??

Michael Moore, perhaps the most famous leftist documentary filmmaker in the world is a lot of things. I disagree with him on most topics. But he is sometimes (maybe often?) honest in his own way. Apparently his newest film project takes on “clean green energy” and leftists are furious.

He exposes the green energy scam for what it is and documents the untold damage that a lot of “green” energy projects do. Nothing I have not said here many times before, but its nice when a leftist with credibility in their circle does it. Most of “green energy” is dependent on carbon-based fuels. “Green” technology destroys nature, pollutes the environment, and leaves toxic waste often on a scale far greater than hydrocarbons due to its inefficiency. Not mentioned in the article is how solar and windfarms massacre wildlife, mostly birds, on a scale that Hitler would be envious of. Or how mining for key rare Earth metals used in green tech leaves toxic waste on a massive scale. All in all, this is a welcome expose of the “green” con, even though the movie gives us the usual “the Earth has too many people” rant.

Oh, “global warming” will now cause a mini ice age. Of course. Any respectable, honest scientist will tell you that the Earth’s climate is dependent on numerous factors and we really have no idea what effect if any CO2 has. Probably the biggest influence is solar output, duh! Thus the medieval warming period and the mini ice age recorded long before industrialization.

Wind power is unreliable. Wind power is insufficient. Wind, solar, hydro and other renewables can never supply nearly all our power needs. Nevertheless, Bud and other virtue signaling companies mislead by making it seem that renewable energy is or will supply much or all of their power needs. Notice words like “will”, “electricity” with no mention of heat, or “theoretical”. Silly, green posturing. Renewable energy should be pursued, but it is not nor will it likely be for centuries the end-all, be-all. Converting to a green energy system will destroy our economy.

Record Cold In The Time of “Global Warming”

Much of the US is in the grips of a record-breaking killer cold-wave, but to hear the far-left tell it, this is just more evidence of Global Warming, err, climate change. This is absurd.

Fact: many climate studies have used faulty or fudged data to show warming.

Fact: not a single climate model trotted out over the last two decades showing a continued warming trend has proven accurate.

Fact: cold kills far more people than heat, but this is probably what the death-cult left wants…fewer people.

Fact: human development on coastlines has led to an increase in losses, not more frequent storms or rising oceans.

Climate change is nothing more than a massive scam run by the left designed to take money from the productive classes. It needs to stop.

 

Numerous Reasons To Despise Leftists

  1. They make up things. “Safe space”, “micro-aggression”, “trigger warning”. I don’t even know what these are. How do these people function on a daily basis.
  2. They produce little of value. They just want to take from the productive class. Many could not hold a job outside of government.
  3. They want people stupid and dependent. The more the better.
  4. The are smug, self-important elitists. They think they are smarter that everyone else (Google execs). They are not.
  5. Their brains largely work on emotion, not logic. Ex: “Climate change”.
  6. They are anti-humanist. They love abortion and population control. They put “Gaia” ahead of mankind.
  7. They promote imagines slights and grievances. They are the party of victimhood and protected classes.
  8. They are quite racist (other races are inferior and need to be taken care of), and sexist (“toxic masculinity”).
  9. They are immoral, unethical, hypocritical and dishonest to the core. They will smear and slander anyone who stands in their way. No trick is too dirty for these people. See the current circus in DC.

Those Most Concerned About “Climate Change” Least Likely to Take Action

Typical of leftists. Make other bear the brunt. Or even better, have government force people to take action. But individual responsibility? Forget it. This is just like charity, where study after study has shown that people who lean conservative are far more charitable than those on the left, who expect government to do everything.

The discussion of “moral licensing” is fascinating and seems to be very similar to “virtue signaling”. In the mind of the leftist, if I support the right causes and think the right thoughts I can do what I want because I am “morally superior”.

Paris Climate Accord Meltdown

Idiotic “climate accord” – buh-bye. The far-left is in full temper tantrum mode over Trump pulling the US out of the flawed, unenforceable, corrupt Paris climate accord.

Some of the adjectives being used are: “stupid, reckless, illegal, treasonous, and planet-destroying”. Projection alert: all of these things can actually be said of the original accord, but that is what leftists do.

Here are the facts, which are kryptonite to leftist crazies:

The accord was of dubious legality in the US since Obama refused to put it in front of Congress as it is required by law if an actual treaty. He knew it would die there: that is why he took it upon himself to sign. If the left wants the US in this, put it to vote. That is how the country works.

The accord will do nothing to halt “global warm, er, climate change”. Only countries in North America and Europe would have their emissions cut, leaving the developing world and India/China to continue to pollute while growing their economies.

The accord is entirely unenforceable as is. The only mechanism to get countries to comply is moral suasion. We have seen how that works out: every nation has cheated on previous emission treaties like Kyoto.

The accord would pressure the US to pay billions to corrupt third-world nations to develop “alternative energy” sources. Bet that will work out well. It is basically extortion.

All those US CEO’s pushing for this (Tesla, Apple, Google, JPM, Exxon, ect) must know what they are talking about, right? Yeah, they are all big business corporatists who will profit mightily from government handouts. That’s right. Follow the money.

“The US needs to be a climate leader” says the left. Well, by pulling out of this farce it is being a leader.

The short story is that this is another well-aimed thumb in the eye to the elitist, globalist movement. That is why the left is so enraged. Their attempt at world order is crumbling. Bravo, President Trump.
