These brave women are pointing out the obvious hypocrisy of Black Lives Matter and the abortion industry that kills 300,000 black babies annually. And the PP center in NYC is named for a REAL racist, the one who founded PP and was a well-known eugenicist.
Chicago is totally screwed, being led by a thoroughly incompetent hard-core leftist. The city is literally a war-zone. Chicago is finished unless someone else takes charge quickly. I bet Chicagoans miss Rahm Emanuel now, corruption and all. At least he would have tried to keep the peace.
Let’s not allow them to ruin sports. The left has already destroyed journalism. They have damaged education immeasurably. They have tried mightily to ruin entertainment. They have tried with sports but have yet to succeed. There are a few reasons for this. In certain sports the fan base skews conservative. Very few sports are run by or followed by leftists primarily. Fans tend to be patriotic. People want their sports free of politics. The misguided kneeling protests in the NFL and the politicization of ESPN, both of which damaged their businesses, are proof of this. In addition, sports represents a meritocracy and a real opportunity to compete and socialize with people from diverse backgrounds. Sports usually bring out the best in us. My kids have had the opportunity to compete with and against kids who are white, black, Asian, and Indian with not a single issue or problem. They are teammates, opponents, friends and are respected as human beings, not as some racial group. Sports unites us, but leftism divides.
You can count on the far-left to use the Floyd killing and domestic unrest to once again politicize sports. It is already happening, from the shameful bullying of Drew Brees, who said nothing wrong, to the NFL prostrating itself at the alter of BLM. And it is going to get worse. It is probably a blessing right now that we are largely sports-free, saving us from the preachy lecturing from a bunch of multi-multi-millionaires. One black ex-football player nailed it when he said “the NFL has done more to lift black men out of poverty than perhaps any business in the country’s history. quit complaining”. If athletes and leagues want to use their bully pulpit to tell us how terrible we are and to repent, I suggest we all vote with our feet. Sports are supposed to be an escape. I am perfectly fine playing rec sports as an adult and watching my kids compete in high school. I am happy to walk away from sports entertainment if the left takes over.

I am going to make a few comments and then link to some excellent articles. I believe George Floyd was murdered, full stop. Terrible. The cop(s) who did it will serve hard time. Peaceful protest are welcomed…that should be the end of it. Instead the country is in flames. But Floyd’s killing is not the primary reason: we have similar situations every few years with nothing close to this reaction. Some of the killings are legitimate: think Michael Brown who was proven to have viciously attacked a cop. Others were not: think Freddie Grey in Baltimore. So ask yourself: what is different this time? I will tell you: the Covid lockdowns that forced hundreds of millions to shelter in place for months with no direction and often little hope, and threw 30-40 million people out of work almost overnight, many of them blacks. The black unemployment rate was the lowest in history before the lockdown at something like 6%, and now some people are saying it is 50%! Now I think that is an exaggeration, but even 30% is appalling. So there it is, thanks mainly to the political left and the Democrat party. Even some liberals have connected the dots. I cannot prove this, but neither can it be disproved. And corrupt leftist mayors and governors running the cities and states that are primarily to blame know they are guilty. But no, it’s racist cops hunting black men. The far-left media is guilty as well, openly cheering on the destruction until it comes to their neighborhood, as if it is the last chance to get Trump and bring in socialism. And far-left cities and states that have been way too soft on crime for years (think the home of Antifa, Portland) and are hopelessly corrupt have set the stage for mass unrest. So Floyd’s killing is not the primary cause: years of inner city neglect and corruption, weak, feckless leftist politicians, far-left media cheerleading and finally a draconian nationwide shutdown set the stage for a calamity. George Floyd’s killing was simply the match that lit a very large pile of tinder.
Fact: 9-10 unarmed blacks are killed by cops annually, compared to 19-20 whites. A cop is 18.5% more likely to die at the hands of a black criminal. Compare the 200+ total annual killings of blacks by cops to the 7000+ black-on-black murders annually. These are all facts. Privilege exists, white privilege is a lie. Privilege is not based on race. Asians do far better than whites as a whole by many metrics: is there Asian privilege? Well, let me correct that. People of a certain color are currently allowed to loot, rob, vandalize and assault with impunity in certain cities: does that sound like “privilege”? Racism exists but most people are not racist and nobody is born that way. Institutional racism is a lie. Many of these cities are run mainly by blacks…are they racist against their own people? Black lives only matter when a cop kills a black man. It does not apply to black cops killed (which is not a rarity) nor the roughly 300,000 abortions of black babies annually. The movement is not about equity, it is about intimidation and power. What is obvious as well is that white Antifa thugs are behind a lot of the mayhem…and in some neighborhoods the peace-loving law-abiding blacks are fighting back. This is a violent revolt, not a race protest. Minneapolis and NYC are in a race to see which city can commit suicide faster.

34 states had more deaths from the flu in 2018 than Covid deaths this year. That is straight from the CDc itself. In Pennsylvania, more people over 100 have died of Covid (or related) than those under 45. Think about that: OVER 100 years old! Did we shut down the country in 2018 over the flu?? No!
2020 will go down in history as one of the worst, unnecessary panics in human history. Covid is fear without any real danger, and corrupt left wing media and the rot that is social media pushed it.

And it isn’t even close. Six of the top eight states in Covid deaths are dominated by leftist Democrats, and the other two are purple states with openly leftist governors: Michigan and Pennsylvania. And before anyone says “but, but, population” two red states are the second and third most populated: Texas and Florida. These Democrat controlled states are also the ones most likely to have thrown civil liberties out the window. Correlation or causation? You decide.
While on the subject, many people are now questioning the veracity of the Covid death count. There are numerous confirmed stories of people clearly dying from something else being counted as Covid deaths, among the most egregious was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. And it isn’t just a “right-wing conspiracy”….doctors are going public. Some in the medical field have been bold enough to accuse the government of over-counting by up to 25%…that would make the death count under 70,000 if true.
Make know mistake, this guy leans pretty far to the left. Maybe he is more of a real liberal. At any rate, he has been a friend to the Democrats and left for years. When you start to lose the like of Matt Taibbi you are in big trouble. This actually gives me hope.
