Oh oh. Did he just say that a black woman politician who dared to thank President Trump for supporting a medical treatment that probably saved her life is “owned” by the Democrat Party? There it is people, in all its glory. The façade is gone. Democrats “own” their members, especially blacks and women. Don’t stray from the plantation, no dissent is allowed. Racism, sexism? You decide.

Keep in mind, this poor woman did not endorse Trump nor did she side with him on some major issue…she dared to THANK him. That’s it. She was dying, and hydroxychloroquine, which the President has supported using in critical cases likely saved her life. This is what the far-left is all about. I have always said that those who scream about various “isms” are themselves the guilty ones and are projecting/covering up.

Michael Moore Exposes The Green Energy Con??

Michael Moore, perhaps the most famous leftist documentary filmmaker in the world is a lot of things. I disagree with him on most topics. But he is sometimes (maybe often?) honest in his own way. Apparently his newest film project takes on “clean green energy” and leftists are furious.

He exposes the green energy scam for what it is and documents the untold damage that a lot of “green” energy projects do. Nothing I have not said here many times before, but its nice when a leftist with credibility in their circle does it. Most of “green energy” is dependent on carbon-based fuels. “Green” technology destroys nature, pollutes the environment, and leaves toxic waste often on a scale far greater than hydrocarbons due to its inefficiency. Not mentioned in the article is how solar and windfarms massacre wildlife, mostly birds, on a scale that Hitler would be envious of. Or how mining for key rare Earth metals used in green tech leaves toxic waste on a massive scale. All in all, this is a welcome expose of the “green” con, even though the movie gives us the usual “the Earth has too many people” rant.

I hesitate to say “dumbest person”…that would be a stretch. There is stupid and then there is weapons grade stupid. AOC tweeted and then deleted a post cheering the collapse of oil prices to the never before seen level of less than zero, saying that “with oil worthless now is the time to invest in our green future!” or some nonsense. Uh, Earth to Sandy, $0 oil and really cheap natgas means that the relative cost of your green fantasies just became A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE! This will likely kill any green vanity project that is not economically viable.

Leftists in general and Sandy from the Bronx constantly receive an F- in economics. The fact that this dope allegedly has an econ degree from BU puts a real stain on college education.

100% right. Dead on. Gretchen Whitmer is a far-left ideologue and one of the worst governors in the country. She inexplicably was elected in 2018 in a moderate purple/blue state due to the fact that a popular GOP governor was term-limited and legalized pot was on the ballot. She has decreed that joint replacement surgery is not “essential” but abortion is. Got that? Abortion is “life sustaining”. She is a very odious woman. I suspect there is a lot of buyers remorse in Michigan right now.

Now, my additional comments.

Fact: so far the “sky-is-falling” models have grossly over-stated the severity of the Corona Virus epidemic.

Fact: we have caused untold damage to country’s economy and psyche.

Fact: other causes of death have mysteriously plummeted in the US. Over-counting of Covid deaths?

Fact: to date Covid has caused far fewer deaths in the US than a normal, not severe flu.

Fact: healthy people rarely die or even get sick from Covid.

Fact: leftists in state and local government are taking advantage of this “crisis” to pass illegal and unconstitutional edicts. Perhaps the country’s worst offender is Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer.

Speculation: when this is over we will view this as one of the greatest cons ever to be foisted upon the American people. I rarely deal in absolutes but I say it is at least 50/50 that this is the result. The “models” predicting a million deaths, then 200,000 “best case” are now at 60,000, and I will take the “under”. We have hurt many people financially, mentally and physically. People will die (or already have) because of our reaction to Covid, not IN SPITE OF it. We have bankrupted businesses, we have ruined the school year for our children and young adults, we have handed over our many freedoms, and on and on. We have allowed medical bureaucrats and corrupt politicians to take over the country, all the while lining their pockets and grabbing power.

Nobody said we have a right to a risk-free existence, but that is what many seem to be selling.

In fact, in areas where Covid outbreaks are minimal, hospitals and medical facilities are empty, apparently causing cutbacks and even layoffs. The behavior here is obvious as the corrupt media (mostly left but including some on the right) have terrified people to the point they won’t seek healthcare unless it is critical. Now some of this is positive as it has freed up capacity in hot spots, and it is well known that many older people tend to unnecessarily be “frequent flyers”.
